People tend to forget that the Republicans freed the slaves, gave women the vote, created the EPA and until GHWB never started a war. BTW I'm not voting Republican this year.
My father (may he rest in peace) once told me: When you go into the voting booth, ask yourself, what have the Republicans done for the working class. Every time, it's the same answer. Jack. So, I'm 53, and been voting Democrat for over 30 years. Sorta makes you forget the past. Don't it?
And my parents said to aske what have the Democrats done to help the taxpayer? Same answer you got. But, I'm 49 and only voted for a Republican once; and regretted it.
