Brought the bike up from the basement. Have not put air in the tires yet. I'm blaming my procrastination on the lilac tree -- Thong keeps wanting to cut it down -- by the porch. Blooming things tend to trigger allergies, so after I walked past it, I was convinced biking was a bad idea -- powerloading allergins. Besides, it was cold and wet yesterday. So, that's my current excuse. Have to send out the registration packets for people who did not make Minicon this year. Tomorrow night is a graduation. Must get card. Must bike around lake tonight.

Thong should be between Tokyo and Singapore, roughly three hours from landing. He's already plotted how to use up his Northwest frequent flyer miles when he returns. The next leg, on Vietnam Air, probably won't earn him much frequent flyer miles on Northwest.
