Had a friend over for dinner:

Salad - mixed box with herbs
Grass fed Cowboy Steak (& braised leek)
Potato Salad
Grilled Veggies -- Red peppers & pea pods
Raspberries -- on the side, cream, sugar, Grand Marnier

For the taters:

Boiled & cooled yellow fingerling taters sliced
Cinzano Bianco
Lemon Thyme leaves & tender stems
Smatting of coarse mustard
Garlic
EVOO
Lemon Juice & Zest in strips from a zester
Tabasco
Sea Salt

When I'd just thrown the potato salad together, the lemon zest added a too bitter note. After it had sat for a while and we ate it, it had mellowed out to just wonderful. We roughed it and started with a Cinzano Bianco over ice with lemon zest and then switched over to champagne, which lasted through the raspberries.
