when the Dr says you should have just called up for a perscription when what you started off doing was calling in the morning and talking with the triage nurse, who of course said, ‘You'll have to come in.'

I really think that's what they're paid for, the nurses that is.

I called the nurse line a while back because I had a spot on my leg which had been there for no less than two weeks, not what I think of as emergent by a long shot. I was told to go in that day to Urgent Care. So we did after school and work I went in and waited and eventually saw the doctor who took one look at the thing and agreed with me, I had a varicose vein from being preggers. Nothing to do about it, no medicine, no words of advice, nothing. Plus I even told the nurse on the phone that's what I thought it was.

I'm still irked at the nurse I talked to.
