that Novacain has epinepherine added to it. I thought I was having a panic attack.. but it was just the epi speeding up my heart. It would be nice if they explained these things.

Oops...sorry about that (not that it's my personal fault, but I'm kinda apologizing for the health care system for having forgotten to tell you that ahead of time). It's added to make the Novocaine work better and last longer...while the sensation may be unnerving if you weren't expecting it, trust me, it's a good idea...
