FUNNY FARM - A performance piece by Kris Strobeck. This is a new performance work inspired by her history raising cattle on the family farm that she took over with her brothers when their grandparents died.
It is an exciting tale of country life clashing with city life styles.
MRS. MAN OF GOD - What does it mean to be “married” to a man who is married to the church? This play explores a relationship between a minister who is gay and his partner. Through the use of song, flashbacks and direct address story-telling, Mrs. Man of God tells his story about navigating the valleys of righteousness and the landmines of zealotry all because he loves a guy who loves God.
The work will be performed by Blayn Lemke, Tod K. Petersen, Katy McEwen, Stephen O’Toole, and Lynne Warfel-Holt.
