Fondling fabrics
May. 16th, 2005 06:47 amI'm transferring the tape where we shopped for a wedding dress for Thong's niece, where the the long, embroidered silk swatches are taken down from the wall and spread out in the main market in Saigon. Thong's brother and his wife was over yesterday and we watched several of the tapes. I gave him most of the DVDs, but I'm still missing a couple. And, he'll need to buy a new DVD player to play it.
We both received invitations to his "wedding" celebration in July. (It's in quotes because I think he's already married -- this is going to be in the Church.)
I'm currently watching yet another exciting episode of "Put the camera down but forget to turn it off" and other exciting shots of the buttons on the front of my shirt and the label of a camera bag.... all of which I get to chop out of the DVD.
