I've got some nice footage of a rice boat being unloaded. I shot it from the boat we were taking up the canal to the Dinh's rice farm. I showed it to a few people at the Seafood Feast at minnehahaMinnehahas' yesterday, and cut it out of a longer clip today. But, it's still around 400 meg. I shot it at 16:9, and only the stuff on the Sony seems willing to handle the avi file. The Sony isn't fast at converting, but I could just burn it to a DVD. I guess it's time to look at some editing software...

I'm sorry I missed the pictures.

Prompting the realization that if I were in the shoes (ok, bare feet) of the subjects of the video, I'd be very, very wet.

And there would be a lot of rice in the canal.

I'll get it on DVD soon... or up on my website. I've just got to get it down in size by a few hundred MB...

That's what you get for trying to keep a kitchen clean with six people cooking in it... ;-)
