Earliest Oscars on record. It seemed like it anyway. It rocked. We never did get a game of Wizard going until after it was over. The rosemary Carr's and the tripple cream blue from Iowa rocked. Didn't eat dinner, but didn't miss it either.

I loved that the man who won best song (we turned it back to the Oscars around 9:45 after dinner, and the girl watched it) choses to sing the key phrase from his song ...

... since they didn't let him perform it, but got Antonio Banderas and Santana to do it instead.

I've yet to see the movie, but the performance really did bite.

I had a very good time, consumed way more than my fair share of cheese, and even got in most of a game of Wizard at the end.

It's too bad daedala had to go all responsible on us and leave early...

I think Chris Rock was 80% funny / 20% clunker. Otherwise the show seemed kind of boring.
