Some October
Oct. 29th, 2004 06:01 pmToday when I went out to get the Times, it was like getting hit the face with a humid pie -- a very warm humid pie. It's been 74 degrees fondly Fahrenheit here much of the afternoon although it's now down to 69 and the sky is doing dark and sickly things out there.
I ran around and took some pictures of the crocuses that are unpicked and still blooming. Some of them are rather toxic, and I contemplated an animated cartoon of the pickers inhaling the scent of the flowers and dropping dead on my sidewalk where I saw the crushed, picked flower yesterday.
I'll be heading off from work soon, run by home, and then head off to help Laura and David move. Hope to make Joel's party later tonight. Tomorrow night is the Crystal Ball at Le Meridien. They better be all moved well before 6:00!
