Minnesota has an ambitious goal to replace lead lines by 2033. More funding is needed to keep it on track.
State and federal funding for lead service line replacement will run out in 2027 if no action is taken.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is out, and Minnesota lawmakers are publicly reacting to her departure from DHS, WCCO-TV reports. “Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and it’s good she’s gone. But this doesn’t change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota,” Gov.
