Today's allergy levels for MINNEAPOLIS, MN:
High (9.8 on a scale of 0-12)
Today's predominant pollen:
Ragweed, Nettle and Chenopods.
The amount of pollen in the air for Monday will be falling but will remain in the high range. This relief in pollen levels is caused in part by rising humidity, weakening winds and expected precipitation in the evening which tends to wash pollen out of the air. With this amount of reduction in pollen levels, tomorrow should be better for allergy sufferers.
The pollen hit me yesterday while I was driving around (with the top down, of course) and immediately after I left First Avenue. I ran back to the house, put the top (wisely since it rained) back on the car, and ran inside to electronically cleaned air... except that I hafta run the pesky filter through the dishwasher and shut all the windows...
