It's interesting that the article doesn't mention the actual "perfect apple", the Pink Lady, until nearly at the end; I assume the copy was provided by the Honeycrisp Marketing Board.

The article doesn't mention Granny Smith, which is pretty close to my perfect apple. I like the tartness and solidity of it. Honeycrisps are tasty, but don't feel substantial enough to me.
