Can Haz Doorbells!

Suddenly quite some time ago, the doorbell stopped working. The light went out and no ring. I replaced the transformer -- who knew my power meter had ac and dc settings? But, no light or ring. The actual doorbell sits in the kitchen, kinda up in the ceiling, where it is not easy to get at. Instead, I gotta electronic set -- buttons for three doors and three receivers for three of the four floors. This morning I put the two last buttons out.

Is take one wire off the transformer.
