We have an outstanding full-time opportunity in the R&D team for a Scientist/Engineer at the Master’s, Ph.D. or higher level. Individuals with strong analytical abilities coupled with substantial computational experience are invited to apply immediately.

You will provide leadership to projects connecting businesses and innovative solutions. You will analyze, model, solve and deploy business solutions. Applicable skills are in the areas of data analysis, mathematics, algorithms and software development. Interfacing with internal, cross-functional and external teams will be required. This position is located at the IDeaS World Headquarters in the Minneapolis/St. Paul.

How big is the company? How badly corporate?

The company is small, 100-150 world wide. Offices in Mineapolis, London, Munich & Pune. (Not that I ever get to visit them.)

It's still running on venture capital. It would be interesting for for people intersted in forecasting. Work in revenue management and benefit analysis using forecasting algorithms and pattern analysis. Older C product and newer Java based. For more details, send to larry at lsanderson.net.
