Wandered down about 9:00 p.m. The night was warm. The streets were all posted for no parking. And why didn't I bike? A loud band played. They sounded much better from a distance. The crowd had mostly consumed too much beer, and the large French (?) beer bottles were everywhere. One lane was blocked off so people could get to and exit from a parking ramp, which they did with some difficulty of tipsy celebrants.
