Our Fair City - Parking Ban

Mpls has instituted odd side parking for non snow emergency routes. (Check with the city if you have any questions.) The snow is winning. The parking ban goes into effect at 8:00 am Sunday morning. In my area of mixed housing, ittsa catastrophe of the highest order. On the other hand, possibly two bicycles could pass on 27th Street, not two cars. Lyndale, which is normally four lanes, is down to two. I'm sure Lake Street is a similar mess. (The "traffic quieting" sure helps narrow the street in the winter. I just love ideas adopted from more southern cities up here in the Northland...)

And March till to come! On the other hand, I did think that our last snow was clearly a March Snow, so maybe March has come early and April will too.
