My Car's Dash

I keep the top down for most of the summer, or at least whenever I can. The dash is all black, and textured. Over the summer, the dust settles imperceptibly across the top, almost invisible, and the black turns gradually gray. Then, at some point, I dust it off and it's black again. It's just like the Republicans. They screw up everything, scurry away, and then they gradually scuttle back into power, taking the color out of life.
