Hummm... It seems to me (a skeptical American) that the bit about Stonehenge is... errr...ummm.. Bullshit. The "Experts" seem to be claiming that the solstice-orientation is purely an accident -- as if the People of that time expended an enormous amount of Energy on a structure without bothering to even think about the fact that it was, in fact, oriented towards the Solstice. (Mind you, back about 1955 I decided that Academic Experts were mostly nincompoops, and opted for a blue-collar, hands-on career.)

I mean... gee whiz... if our ancestors were that stupid, we'd probably be stupid enough to go along with the idea that Bombing Syria would somehow help make the world a better place.
