To all you AA members out there...
Jan. 26th, 2011 09:23 amReturning to the stage by popular demand just 14 months after its original Illusion Theater run, the highly praised "Bill W. & Dr. Bob" starts the New Year off with a story about a world-changing friendship. It's a remarkable and humorous story set around the lives and, more importantly, the friendship of Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob Smith.
One is a down-and-out stockbroker, the other a surgeon from Ohio. Both were alcoholics. Through a surprising series of events, the two meet and form the friendship that is responsible for the creation of Alcoholics Anonymous. A universal story of the dangers of isolation and the healing powers of good connections, "Bill W. & Dr. Bob" is sure to leave the audience with warm feelings inside during these cold winter months.
Tickets are available by calling the Illusion Theater at 612-339-4944, or by clicking here. To make the show as accessible as possible, every Sunday evening performance is designated "Pay-What-You-Can." Additionally, audio description for patrons with vision difficulties will be available for the Feb. 25 performance.
