lsandersonLast night at Minnehaha's. Stinky cheese and pinot. Lottsa pinot and really good stinky cheese. And Tahitian vanilla ice cream, not at the same time though. I think I musta gotten a bad glass in there somewhere judging from how my head feels this morning... I brought a Ken Wright wine that the NY Times food & wine critics liked. It was even cheaper here than in New York. And I could find it. Usually when they review a wine, it can't be found. I drank the last of it, so it seemed reasonably popular. (At least I doubt I drank the whole bottle even if my head feels as if I did.) Pictures.
Thong and Thi left Vietnam in February twenty something of 1989. They left the refugee camp in Thailand in March of 1990 for the US. This will be the first time Thi's been back. Thong does not think he'll be able to handle the heat or life down on the farm. I remember Thong not being wowed about it the first time he went back.
