Laura Jean and I cooked four quiches -- one lorraine, one asparagus and red peppers, one with a potato crust, ham & cheddar, one ham, red peppers, swiss & gruyere cheese. I also baked two coffee cakes, one blueberry, one cherry. We had a bunch of strawberries, oranges, bananas, grapes, apples and pears, orange juice, a choice selection of cheap champagne, V8, vodka, coffee, & tea (nobody drank any tea). We were going to make waffles but backed out at the last minute. I think we should have whipped up one batch, but what the heck. We had maple syrup for them too.

Now, if I'd read my email earlier, or read your note about the meeting, I'd have been there, too!

I've made arrangements at First Avenue for 6 (SM, AS, SC, RL, JS and GS.) So far so good, but all will have to carry ids!
