Last Night
Jul. 17th, 2010 10:07 amLast night, I went to catch The Girl Who Played with Fire at the Edina. It was good, though not quite as good as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It did give a much better chance to view the tattoo though. I was somewhat amazed at the white haired couples sitting at scenes of nekkid lesbian sex and more that's pretty racy fare for us here in New Scandinavia. It wuzn't a wardrobe malfunction -- them women didn't have any clothes on at all and there wasn't much left to the imagination. Rumor has it it was a made for TV movie in Sweden. No one fainted or walked out. Fortitude, that's wot we got here in New Scandinavia.
Afterwards, Michael, Mary and I hit Luce's Bar in Uptown and sat outside in the warm summer night. I scored a parking space right in front of the bar, and wondered as I parked why my new brakes are still squeaking so much...
Draft Guinness was half priced. It's amazing I made it home.

I'm glad you didn't crack you, your car, or anyone else up on the way home.
