The Rijks Museum and the Stedelijk Museum allow photography. The Van Gogh Museum does not. I went to the Willet-Holthuysen Museum (canal house) and the Hermitage (Amsterdam), which had a Catherine the Great exhibit, and took pictures along the canal on a gorgeous Sunday. I took one boat trip on the canals.
