Farmer's Market
Nov. 2nd, 2014 04:56 pmI made my weekly trek to the Farmer's Market this morning.
It was clean-out week. The market was much smaller than the week before, and that was smaller than the ones before.
I asked a guy how much the radishes cost, and he said "Two bunches for $1." then he gave me four bunches.
I bought a bunch of small squash and the vendor told me to take another... which in reflection, may not have been an extra...
One vendor took a five for a one, but gave me change when I asked. I'd bought a head of cauliflower, not local, slightly shaved. There have been majestic heads of purple cauliflower, but I'm too cheap to spend the big bucks to buy one.
