For various values of backup, I'd backed much of it up and copied parts of it, but then set it aside, and forgot about it. Recently I put most of the lose hard drives into cases and spun them up. I tried again to restore the partition; failing the first time, and now I'm copying files off it. MiniTools Data Recovery looked at it for about a day before spitting out the file list. I'm currently copying 171,328 files off to another folder, which will probably show me that I do indeed have multiple copies of everything.
