My friends from Fargo, Andrea and Sam, came to town last weekend. I took Thursday and Friday off after most of the software release at work jumped to November. We hit a few restaurants:

The Black Sea - Lunch - 2012.10.12 or 11
Small Turkish restaurant in St. Paul. We had eggplant and a huge platter of mezes. Never made it to anything else. No pics.

Piccolo - Dinner 2012.10.12
I insisted we all order the Tasting Menu. ($48 for five courses) Because, of course, if you don't, you leave hungry. (I've been here before.) We all five ordered the tasting menu and we left quite happy.

Downtown Middle Eastern. We loved the octopus, foie gras, and the lamb tagine. Andrea had her second tartar of the event, tuna.
