Why, O Why did I not buy the Blu-ray extended version of Lord o' the Rings at Walmart? It wuz $35. No, I have a DVD copy. Good enough. Oddly enough, it sold out before I talked myself into thinking about it. Saw it I did. Buy it I did not.

Saturday cooking shows

Guilty pleasure sometimes I watch the Saturday PBS cooking shows. Today I caught a plantain dumplings: boil a couple o' green ones with one half-ripe, pound with salt and olive oil, and form into dumplings for chicken/chorizo okra stew. Link
