LiveJournal Subject lines form hyperlinks to the LiveJournal post. The hyperlink in the subject line takes you to the LiveJournal post, not to DailyKOS.com which is where the hyperlink should take you. Your software hyperlink has to be in the body of a LiveJournal or Dreamwidth post, not in the Subject line.

Please see http://lsanderson.livejournal.com/2455295.html and click on the subject line link to DailyKOS. Putting a hyperlink in a LiveJournal subject line does not work.
