Well, the nice thing about a RAID, when one drive dies, you just shove in another. Too bad I unplugged the wrong drive. Finally had to take the drives out to figure out which was #3. The damned cool drive wasn't the bad one. Go figure. It's about at 10%, which is doing fine for no fuss at all. The only sad thing, it's IDE, outmoded, and the drives are being discontinued. The good thing, it's RAID 5. It's made up of four Maxtor 120 gig drives. They were the sweet point when I bought the parts to put the computer together. They're not made any more, unless you buy laptop drives. The replacement is a Seagate 320. I wish the card could resize on the fly, but it only rebuilds on the fly. Sigh. "Doctor Who" David Tennant plays Hamlet in a new Royal Shakespeare Company production.
The Royal Shakespeare Company usually draws genteel, theater-loving crowds to the serene town of Stratford, the playwright's birthplace. It has never seen anything like the fan frenzy surrounding a new production of "Hamlet" that stars not one but two science fiction icons: David Tennant, hero of the British Broadcasting Corp.'s beloved "Doctor Who," and Patrick Stewart of "Star Trek: The Next Generation."
