Curse of the Catalpa Day

Today is the official Curse of the Catalpa Day here in Beautiful South Mpls. The first killing frost hit, and both catalpa trees, on cue, dropped their leaves. Not, I might add, small, almost invisible leaves -- heck no. Dinner plate sized leaves -- nice and green and fresh, but sadly, all over the lawn.
