Sep. 19th, 2006 07:53 amI got up an hour earlier than usual. I'm still here, but I removed the DVD drive from the case and wrote the serial number down on the rebate coupon. Curse you, Sony...
I also contact the memory maker for the memory I yanked from my motherboard after I got new memory for it. The motherboard has stopped crashing several times a day. This seems like a good thing. (A memory test also said the memory was having problems.) I only had to fill out answers for twenty questions and swear I ran their memory test. I lied. I also did not know the serial number of the memory. I think it's under the heat sink covers which say "Warranty void if removed." Odd, that.

IFP's monthly short film showcase returns from it's month off with a brand new line-up of filmmakers ready to show you the goods. We're honored this month to welcome the founder of Los Angeles' Filmmakers Alliance, Jacques Thelemaque, who will screen his short film "Transaction" with us and then be in-house to do a Q+A after the screening. Match that with 4 local filmmakers unleashing their latest and greatest short works on you, and you've got a helluva night. Tomorrow evening's line-up includes:
"The Interview" Chris Mick and David Ash
"Tough Choices for Teens" David Copper
"Bullets Over Breakfast" Ryan Foss
"Marbles" Ben Krueger and Tom Gerde
"Transaction" Jacques Thelemaque
Cinema Lounge happens the third Wednesday of each month at the Bryant Lake Bowl theater. The show starts at 7pm, and lasts about 90 mins. Admission is FREE, and seating is first come, first served. We're always taking submissions, so if you'd like to be the next filmmaker to screen with us, call Paul at (651) 644-1912, or send your work (30 min. or less) on DVD or VHS to:
