Paper...

I can hear the paper calling me from the porch..

Yesterday, the garage next door got torn down and we talked about talking down the chain-link fence that goes between the houses. I made it to the IFP event in St. Paul, but I hit it during a lull between daytime events and nighttime events. I did not make it back for the viewings. Very nice building on Univeristy.

Summer Movies...

The Times does summer movies today... if you wanna see what's coming out (and you like their critics), give it a read. On the other hand, Brooks and Tierney continue to wreak havoc on the editorial pages..

Spring

Spring has suddenly returned to Mpls. Between showers and the drips from the CC Club's patio, it's warm and damp. First time on their patio. The breakfast special has jumped to $7. (Two eggs, steak, toast, taters & BM {or screwdriver for the heretics{ -- perfect except you have to make too many choices). I walked up to the Loon to pick up some cash because I was not certain what all the CC Club took. On the way back, I got pattered with rain. I walked inside the CC Club, thinking that I could have walked to L&D's, but I excptected they wuz Hallmarking, and so ended by myself on the patio. The food was OK (it ain't gourmet), and I had an extra BM just because I could. Then I wandered south to Lake, hit theater antiques to see if somebody had accidentally returned the Swedish mod sofa I lusted after before Xmas, and then wandered my way back home.

In the back yard...

The wireless works fine. WooT! The door is close if it starts spritzing. And I have my choice of five or so networks... two of which are mine. I even washed off the table before I set the computer on it. I think this must mean it's ready for summer.
