Hair of the Dog

On the first day of the New Year (western style), since the days I worked in the restaurant business where every day except Christmas and New Year's Day was a workday for someone, I've been holding an open house. In honor of what most people are attempting to recover from, it's called the Hair of the Dog Party.

At Dreampark

Went this evenign to the carolling party at Dreampark, and had a very fine time.

Earlier, I moved junk down from the third floor, including the pedistal sink that's no longer needed there. It's now hiding partly by the furnace and party in the tool room. I put up my aunt's card table with the slightly askew legs and chairs. I watered the amarlys. Still need to haul the footstool to the Eames chair up. And a few glasses, mix, lemon, lime, that kind of thing. Hauled the Coke in from the front entry. Last year, I kept hearing these pops, as the cans of diet Coke froze and burst. I thought I'd not repeat that this year.
