Probably shop for groceries.

I met Minnehaha K, Daedela, Lee & Melissa at Cheng Heng in St. Paul last night. We wuz hoping for a feast, which they were out of, but instead we ordered a passel of appetizers and 6 entrées.  I picked a curried fish steamed in banana leaf, which was good. We all shared everything, including two soups, a hot & spicy soup, and a beef soup with lemon grass and lime leaves.  Everything, actually, was quite nice and we had a very good time. The rest adjourned to attack a pie at Minnehaha K's, and I, alas, headed out to Cub to do a run at grocery shopping.

I arrived back home with bags 'o stuff shortly after 10:00, put the food away, caught up on my e-mail, and, shock, checked my phone messages. Geri had called to see what time worked to drop Elaine off. Geri and Elaine appeared close to midnight, and we chatted a short bit. I gave Elaine a 30 tour of the room, bathroom and kitchen, and then hopped into bed.

There's a section on death and dying in the New York Times Science. And how to say goodbye. Also, another meteor shower on it's way and where they come from.
