Sushi hits in today's Stribune:
RAISING THE BAR By Rick Nelson. Article.
"By the time Thanksgiving rolls around, Sakura (350 St. Peter St., St. Paul) will have a roomy new bar. Owner Miyoko Omoro is expanding her Japanese restaurant into the adjacent corner storefront, where she's putting in a 50-to 60-seat bar. A dining-room renovation, set to follow the bar's opening, should be completed by Valentine's day; the restaurant and sushi bar will remain open during construction."
"Sushi in Crystal? You got it, at the Wild Mint Restaurant, now serving sushi, specialty noodle dishes and steak -- and a full bar -- at 103 Willow Bend (just off W. Broadway Av. and Bass Lake Rd.) in the Crystal Shopping Center."
Not much about fish:
"Sunday dinner is back on the docket at Vincent (1100 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis), with a menu that includes cassoulet, pan-seared Arctic char and Moroccan-spiced braised lamb shank ($20 to $23) plus a $25 three-course meal."
There's also an article about a new sushi place in Edina, but the Stribune's registration system is having hissy fits...
