I'm up early to try and get to work early so I can go to Mr. Schneider's event. Not that I need any kitchen gadgets, but you never know...

I'd like to go and see the Fran() Brothers at the Bryant Lake Bowl afterwards if I get back into Mpls in time. My sister and cousin will be in town over the weekend, so we'll be running around. Stopped by my aunt's room last night on the way home from work to tell her that they are coming. She had some friends visiting and was using the voice amplifier, which was down by her feet. It was slightly disconcerting to hear her voice emanate from her feet.

Bought a can of paint for them to use on the third floor dormer. Serious sticker shock. On the other hand, I asked for the best paint they had. I don't want to go and hang off the third floor to paint the damned thing. They replaced the siding with new cedar siding and back-primed that. There was apparently a considerable amount of rot and water damage. It's hard to see the dormer from the outside unless you're walking south on Garfield and looking north. Every time I try that, I walk into a pole.
