There was a big article by Rick Nelson in Friday's Stribune that I missed about Lyn-Lake and it's up and coming attitude (go house prices!). (The Stribune has a really annoying sign-in policy and then proceeds to inundate you with pornographic spam mailings about some local team called the "Vikings" that I'm unfamiliar with, much as I am in favor of pictures of nekkid men. The Mudpie Reborn. There's a new restaurant where the Mudpie ustta be. They've kind of spiffed up the patio, but more I do not know in spite of the fact that the restaurant is 2.5 blocks from my house. It may be lingering malaise from the Mudpie. I ate in the restaurant at least once in the last ten years, and never felt the urge to return. (It was a vegetarian restaurant of the fake burger variety when I ate there in the long ago.) The Mudpie closed some time ago, but it's nice to see a new place there.
