(no subject)

I stopped at Best Buy (across the street if you consider 494 a street) after work yesterday, and they had the 4-disc version of FotR. I had left the raincheck sitting on the kitchen table, and so I did not buy it, but headed home. After noshing a bit, I went up to catch up on my e-mail, and suddenly the pseudochild is there. Wanting to use my computer of course to download some pictures of a mail-order Vietnamese bride onto a 3.5 inch floppy. For whatever reason, the floppy drives on my main computer stopped working quite some time ago (I've got them in a detached box with a mile of flat-wire cable between them and the motherboard.), so I suggested he move his butt over to Thong's computer.
Twenty five questions resulted. How do I save the picture (on XP, it isn't hard). How do I make sure the picture is on the floppy? You just saved it to the floppy. It's there. As he goes and looks with IE and forgets to change the file from the default HTML. They pseudo-child has both a desk and laptop computer at his house. I suspect they don't get used very much.
I finally said I had to run. I told Sharon that I would drop off the Ducky Box for her new and improved version. The master plan was to hit Best Buy up on the way back and pick up the FotR, but Sharon and I talked until it was too late to hit BB. I did go out for lunch and grabbed a copy with the raincheck.
