Walked out the back door of the hotel, across the street in the rain and around the building to the training center. Felt guilty driving across the street, although if it starts pouring, I think the I'll regret it. Cars do make good umbrellas, unless it's my car and I forget to put the top on it.
The instructor is currently out by O'Hare. It's a rainy Monday in Chicago, and I'm up in Deerfield, waay north of Chicago. My bet is that he won't be here for quite some time.
Should have been freeways up from Midway last night, but I put the best instructions in the trunk of the rental car and headed out. Missed a turn or two and ended up on a tollroad for one pay section. Not usually a problem, but I'd not loaded myself down with change. I took 55 north from Midway to 94, and drove close to Boystown, and I didn't even stop. (gasp). Went instead to the hotel and hooked into my e-mail. Not that there was much to read, but just in case.
