I do have to warn fans with weak hearts that, owing to a collusion of fans whose names I shall not mention to protect the guilty, there are two versions of Minicon 37's PR-1 being circulated.

I also have to confess, that having proofed the PR in the morning and afternoon, I did not rush to open the copy I received, but took it to the MNSTF meeting yesterday. There, Andrew, the layout ghod, opened it and immediately zoomed in on the horrific line that had been inserted on the back of the Minicon 37 registration form. There, in plain black toner on the registration form paper, some fan, obviously with too much time on their hands, had added, "This page intentionally left blank."

Rest assured, that I shall not sleep until the guilty are punished, but secretly, somewhere deep down in the depth and darkness of my heart, I did wish that Mr. 433 had received one of the sorely hacked PR-1's that I did. <g>

Rarely, since the last Minicon, have so many fans colluded on such a project. I suspect these saboteurs have a wide range, even to the East coast.

To turn back from the serious issue, we had a great MNSTF meeting yesterday in New Richmond Wisconsin. I took the freeway route and did not get lost trying to find a shortcut around Stillwater. I'd planned on riding with Drewan, but Laurel bailed on us, and I invited Kevin without checking first with him. In the interim, Drewan had invited cute Michael who's in charge of programming at Minicon 37, so I'd overfilled the car. Rather than ride, I drove.

It was fun to get out of the city, the ground freshly white, but the rivers and lakes all unfrozen. Erin and David always put on an awesome party, and I was jealous of their hand-painted basement floor.
