Sep. 22nd, 2001 12:28 pmWent to see Good 'N' Plenty last night at the Illusion Theatre with Joyce and Polly. Kelly, bailed. Joe and Andrewdid not choose to attend. Really funny. The actors are excellent physical comics, and the play taps into the "funny" side of high school that most of us remember.
They'd changed the ending since I last saw the play at the Fresh Ink series. Cut some of the bitterness from the ending, but I'm not sure that it's not now too much of a deus ex machina. The former bitter ending turned the humor better and ended more quickly. Really great cast, and an awesome play.
The incredible Miss Richfield sat directly before us! It was just a slice of heaven! And even more better, she's doing another holiday extravaganza at the Illusion Theatre! November 23 through December 3! Life just can't get much better.
