When I ran out to grab the papers this morning, I realized I'd left the drip hose running beside the house. Now it will rain today for sure. Started it up in the back yard. Petunias, moss roses, peppers, chives, tarragon, snapdragons, volunteer watermelon, some blue flowers, and the stray marigold that keeps wondering in from Thong's flower boxes that are still hiding in the shade. They're actually colorful and doing fine. Thong's salvia is starting to bloom along the driveway. I think I screwed up the fertilizer schedule again this year... it's been twice during the summer, not every two weeks. He's been doing better with the salvia, but he does not water it enough.
