Last Night Some of the Usual Suspects...

Last night was a small dinner for buttonlass. Some of the usual suspects gathered in honor of her visit and to look for her lost voice.

It was one o' those days:

First: Cannelini beans with frisee, home-made goat ricotta on toast buttonlass's

Second: Avocado & Cucumber Cold Soup - mizzlaurajean's

Third: Instant Civiche (Sea Scallops & Cod Cheeks) - lsanderson & minnehaha k's

Fourth: Mussels - minnehaha k's

Sixth: Lamb Chops with French Peas, Radish, and Pea Shoots - minnehaha b's


Seventh: Spoiled Milk Products: bkremser & Bob -

Eighth: Rhubarb pie with homemade vanilla ice cream is invisible because we ate it so fast (just to make sure the ice cream didn't melt) that I did not have time to take a picture. It had nothing at all to do with the bottles of wine we drank with each course...

I do think I need more practice with the phone's camera...
