Enterprise hard disks are switching from 3.5 to 2.5. Who knew? The smaller drives don't hold as much, but they're faster, and use much less power. They're also getting bigger.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that the Enterprise used a crystal storage technology. (Though perhaps the original was SSD... that's not clear.)

Original original. I didn't watch Star Trek: Flashback much past the first few. Once it became clear that Sam Beckett wasn't going to leap into a more interesting character, I gave up on it.
