Last night it was a twenty cop car bust on 94 just north of downtown. They had one guy in cuffs and ten officers with gus drawn closing in on a van. This morning it was 35W pretending it wuz a parking lot.

There was some sort of drug bust / speed trap going on 35 in IA this weekend. I saw lots of cars pulled over both ways.

I also saw a bust at a local gas station last week. The flashing lights were almost brighter than the car wash illuminations.

Getting out of Uptown via Lagoon and Lake Street (heading for 50th & France) was such a parking lot this past Saturday that I drove over the median curb and went the other way. I guess traffic was being moved down to one lane, but I didn't see the actual problem.

I saw cars all over 35W southbound just sitting there this morning. Luckily my direction was clear -- almost exactly 20 minutes from my front door to work (intersection of 394 and 494).
