Former President Gerald Ford often reminded people that he was a Ford, not a Lincoln. Today's GOP is not even a Ford. It's an Edsel. More

That's an insult to the Edsel. I drove one once, it wasn't all that bad. I'm told that all the seals leaked oil constantly and all that chrome corroded within a year or two. On the other hand, I know a person in the UP who was given a 4 wheel drive, Lincoln "Navigator", massive SUV. Her folks gave it to her to protect their grandkids. It couldn't corner because the center of gravity was way to high, so was in the ditch more than out, and it could never get itself out, even in 4 wheel drive. Every few months it needed a new part, and cost $1000 just driving past the dealership. People wonder why these folks need bailouts. They need to get their heads out of their arses.
