Rice Farm - early december Ninth

lsandersonWe arrived at the rice farm to a huge lunch. Two sisters, three brothers, spouses (except Minh's), children (except one of Minh's) and a few inlaws.
After lunch, we went to the local village via motorbike along the canals. We climed the "mountain." I didn't clime the stairs to the top of the boulder, but the view must have been spectacular.
At some point, a pair of rabbits became the main course (along with a duck or two) for another feast. We drank French champagne, 333, and bottled water. A great time was had by all. Some how, it took the drinking table a lot longer to eat.
Thong and I woke up around 2:30. Right now he's in his brother's bedroom. I'm in one mosquito netting in one of the main rooms beside a huge net with two mats of sleeping people, including the driver.
