Yesterday, the family cooked all morning. Thong had brother's running all over the market for crab, river lobster, shrimp, pork, noodles, and greens. They boiled, grilled, and deep fried shrimp, lobsters, and crab all morning. Shortly after Bruce and Karen arrived, there was a huge feast on the living room floor. After eating, we colapsed for an hour or two, and then walked around the market during the quiet time. Most of the meat and seafood vendors had closed up for the day, and a lot of the vendors were taking a nap.
Later when we got back, Thong's brother made us eat watermellon, and Thong made some banana pudding.
Karen went with Tin to have some nail polish removed, and Thong & I went with. Bruce showed up after a bit, and then we walked back to the house. They left for downtown and their hotel shortly afterwards, and most of the Dinh family set out a meal. The baby brother claimed he was still too full to eat. I had a little bit, which I really didn't need.
We're off at eight to meet Bruce and Karen and hit the central market. The afternoon is two museums, then I've got to pack. We're getting up around 3 am for the airport.
