Nicollet Hardware said the window would be done Wednesday. I asked them to reglaze both windows, and the top one $10 a frame X 9 frames. Expensive, but if I did it, it'd be December and then I'd break a few panes. And my glazing skills are pretty bad. I'm debating rehanging the windows with new rope when I get 'em back.

What, precisely, does it mean to glaze a window? Is this a process whereby the glass is stuck in its home and made to stay put, or something else?

The putty that seals the glass to the frame.

Thanks, but the link doesn't work for me. However, this page has a nice description, with pictures.
